Legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately. Earlier this month, for example, his adopted daughter Mikaela announced that she intends to become a porn star.

“I’ve always been a very sexually natured person, which has gotten me in trouble before,” Mikaela told The Sun last week. “Not in a predatory way, but just in the sense that people here in the South might not yet be comfortable with that.”

“My main hope is just that I get somewhere lucrative enough to where I’m not tied down financially by things. And then I can really start saying to people there’s nothing wrong with me using my body in a way that feels comfortable to support myself.”

After the news broke, a source close to Spielberg told Page Six that the “Schindler’s List” director and his wife were “embarrassed” by his daughter’s revelation.

“Outwardly, Steven and Kate, who are the most evolved parents in the world and love their kids beyond all measure, have always been supportive of Mikaela and try to understand her,” the source said. “Obviously, though, they’re embarrassed by her sudden public admission of entry into the sex worker world.”

The anonymous source added that “they’re also concerned that this path might not end up being the best.”

Again, not something Steve wants to be in the news for.

But when it rains it pours: now Mikaela is in trouble with the law. The 23-year-old aspiring porn actress was arrested Saturday for domestic violence.

The arrest was confirmed by her fiance, 47-year-old professional darts player Chuck Pankow.

“It is true,” Pankow told Fox News, adding, “No one is hurt.”

The dartsman did not provide any additional information.

According to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Mikaela was taken to the Hill Detention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, and held on $1,000 bond. While someone posted the bond on her behalf, she was forced to stay for 12 hours anyway due to the nature of her alleged offense.

Stories like this go to show, among other things, the importance of things like background checks. Not everyone with a criminal record looks like a criminal. Police checks in NSW and other regions are readily available should you ever feel the need for one.

And in case you were wondering, Mikaela says she plans to stick to solo porn videos only—out of respect for her fiance, who supports her ambitions.

Fetish videos, however, are in the cards.

“I think I would be great at fetish work,” Mikaela said.
