We definitely underestimated how popular our last batch of CBK Vintage Hawaiian shirts would be. We sold out so damn quickly, even Ricky (The Comeback Kid Best Dressed Staff Member of the Month) snapped up one in a flash! So due to this demand, next Monday we will be restocking our CBK Vintage rack and online store with an amazing selection of one-off vintage Hawaiian shirts at $40 a pop. The above mood board shows that this formerly daggy item is suddenly very awesome. Wear yours with a beer and a beard. Wear to a bar or the beach. Wear not just on Fridays. To quote Ricky: “I always feel so happy when I wear my Hawaiian shirt!” Couldn’t have said it better ourselves. A classic way to celebrate the warmer weather and add a bit fun to your day.

We’re excited to announce the arrival of a new label for Comeback Kid, Adelaide based Morning Theft. Founded by Tom Guerin, Morning Theft is now in it’s second (and unashamedly playful) season. Comeback Kid Presents | Stairwell to Heaven
As some of you may have already noticed, this week as part of Melbourne Music Week, the usually bare walls of our stairwell have been adorned (by the awesome team at Moth Design) with album covers and gig posters. This temporary exhibition ties into the Record and Release series that’s happening in Melbourne’s many lanes as we speak. See work by Leif Podhajsky and WEBUYYOURKIDS as you wander up the stairs towards the store; these posters are a clear reminder that album art is far from dead (despite our current digital appetite!).
