Comeback Kid Presents | CBK Vintage

These floating sky jumpers are also available now to wear and stack.
Howdy readers! Today we’re excited to announce something new for winter and new for Comeback Kid: our CBK Vintage collection. We’ve been avid vintage collectors for years so it felt like a natural step to inject some of our love for vintage into the store for this season. Near on every day we wear a dash of the old-school with the newer looks in our wardrobe, so we wanted to offer some of the best pieces we’ve sourced to keep you extra warm this winter.
We’ve spent some time hand picking vintage pieces that compliment the look and direction of our in store labels and we’re pretty happy with our final selection! So happy in fact that we’re struggling to part with some of the goods… eep! We found Ricky weeping in the storeroom last Friday begging us for the Burgundy Yves Saint Laurent Shirt but alas, we’re being tough and strong and we’re ready to hand our favourite pieces over to you.
The first dose of CBK Vintage is now available online and in store with more to come soon. But remember: each piece is a one-off!

Comeback Kid

How to Wear Chinos | An Immensely Instructive Guide To Style and Your Legs by Comeback Kid
Yes we’re not being annoying, we know you wear chinos on your legs but the obvious aside we wanted to take a look at how guys around the world like to mix and match and layer their look. Shall we?
Guy 1: We like to call this guy The Backpack Beanie Desert Dude and we’re sure you can see why. This look is tonal a.k.a. the colours are same same but different and he’s made this work with warm earth tones. Nature FTW.
Guy 2: This is The Forest Fella With Serious Michael Jackson Anti-Gravity Lean which I’d now like to talk to you about. Watch THIS and then wonder at THIS. Michael patented the shoe that assists that lean. This guy’s just using a tree and the power of the chinos.
Guy 4: Yeah, I skipped striped top guy because his look speaks for itself (clue: awesome) but we like the baggier look that Backyard Plaid Boy Taking Out The Rubbish is sporting. Relaxed to the max.
Guy 6: This is Mr. Inner City Cool with what appears to be a shearling lined parka? Whoa. Do try this one at home.
Guy 7: Copying our lean trend we have Wish I Was A Lumberjack Lad and though he appears to be a tad serious about his attire we do like his fur trapper and the bunched-up-scrunched-up chino effect he’s created with the high-laced boots.
Guy 8: What You’ll Be Doing Once You’ve Got Your Chinos On Guy.
We have five chino colours up for grabs online and in store right now. Plus free shipping. $85 each.
