We here at Comeback Kid are big fans of the trench coat; who can argue with a jacket that’s always in fashion?! Both Burberry and Aquascutum lay claim to it’s invention and since it’s first life as a uniform basic for the British Army it has evolved into a fashion staple and a style icon. I wont bore you with it’s great history (though I’m tempted!) but if you’re interested, last November, Burberry launched their website The Art of the Trench which provides an interesting look at this key piece.
Limedrop have recently put their touch to this icon with the super charming Storm Trench. It’s heavy and lined and warm and comes in perfect charcoal black. And in store now!

About Last Night | Winter Launch Party
We had a Winter Launch party last night and as you can see by the delay we’re quite hung dog and not really capable of blogging. But we’ve pulled up our socks, drunk plenty of coffee and we’re ready to show you some snaps from last nights wintery madness! But before we get to that goodness we’d like to do some high fives; dry your hands now. First up Moth Design for their amazing interior SLAP! Simon and Tyson for being big and scary SLAP! Austins Wines for ensuring everyone’s thirst was quenched SLAP! And Grolsch too; gee I love that popping sound SLAP! An extra large SLAP! to Max Sanderson for taking photos for us last night (as seen below) and you can see more of his photographic skills (including more from the party) over at his site, Fallen Woman.
