Walking Out The Door | Limedrop Slouch Pants

Limedrop Slouch Pants: $150 worth of seriously fashionable Australian made comfort.
Whoa. How arts and crafty is that Photoshop job? I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing but hell yeah: I’ve got the skills to pay the bills. Enough about me, what do you think about me? No really, these pants are selling fast. Only 3 pieces left in black and blue & green stripes as you can see above, well, kind of see above you know? Use your imagination.
Yours,
Comeback Kid
Tumblr Time | Addicted to Tumblr
I’m addicted to Tumblr. Give me an image feed and I’ll inject it. Create an online mood board for me and I’ll crave it. Update daily and I’ll keep coming back for more. TA. Tumblr Addicts Anonymous. A few people don’t get the Tumblr thing but I find sometimes related, sometimes unrelated images stacked one after the other surprisingly interesting. I look for the stories they appear to tell or the ideas you find amongst them. I like the inspiration and instant gratification. I like the way they make you feel heaps smarter than you actually are and more creative than your year 6 art teacher with the long red hair. Not familiar with them? A starters guide:
Some move: Gifs of Popular Rappers
Some are locally based: I Can’t Really Talk About It
Some are fed by celebrity bloggers: Slow Motion Crawl
Some are about the future: Amazing Future
Some are about the past: Strange Eyes
Some are dedicated to one person: Fuck Yeah Freja
And some make you feel smart: Cover Spy

Snap | The Style Tyrant

The buttoned up shirt, that cut out jumper and green shoes Y.E.S. You know we love a floral print on a guy. And seriously, could this lad have nailed “effortless” any better? Well, no.
Nothing gets our smile on like a new men’s street fashion blog here at CBK. Sadly they’re few and far between but to discover a street fashion blog that is locally based (G’Day Sydney!), beautifully shot and dedicated to menswear specifically is an added bonus. Cue The Style Tyrant. Capturing the fashion forward, classically styled and trend setting lads who wander the streets hills of Sydney, The Style Tyrant explores a variety of looks, ages and personalities through each photo. There are detailed shots too, which we love and all round photogenic folk, which is always nice on a Monday. It’s refreshing to see such a variety of interesting and fun fashion choices for guys at one source.
Get inspired!

Just In | Limedrop (Seriously) Long (Seriously) Cool Shirt

Limedrop Stratus Shirt in Plaid $220
This shirt is longer than the novel Remembrance of Things Past. It’s longer than the amount of time it will take you to read those seven volumes. It’s longer than the amount of education you’ll need to understand them. It’s long OK? Stop hassling me. Gosh. And it also just hit our racks (the shirt not the novel you fools!) which I nearly needed to make higher as a result.

About Last Night | Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros

I took two photos and made them one. You like?
The lovely folk over at MySpace were kind enough to put on a secret gig at The Workers Club Rob Roy last night starring none other than Comeback Kid favourite Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. CBK, foolish as we are, missed out on tickets to their gig over a the Corner due to confusion and laziness. Boo! So were were pretty chuffed to hear that there was a free gig going on for our dancing pleasure. And weren’t we delighted! We’d heard rumors that these guys put on a pretty mean live show and we weren’t disappointed. There was a trumpet, an accordion and a giant tambourine! Jade, the female vocalist, was also one of the best darn singers I’d ever heard.
Folky, harmonic, hypnotic and downright good fun we danced our pants off (it was sweaty) and clapped with joy. In fact, at one point I turned to my trusty side kick and shouted, “I’d like Edward to Sharpe my Magnetic Zero”. See, I’m funny in person too.
Good tunes, good times!
