Hear Me Now | Dancehall
So I recently discovered that there is an overwhelming number of people in Melbourne who hate reggae. I was shocked. And appalled. How rude. Clearly this is some sort of evil scheme that began with the man and has resulted in the low circulation of marijuana and thus high energy levels amongst the average person. I mean hello? Reggae is great. What better way to lie around and do nothing as the smooth sounds of the rastaman caress your ear drums. Y’all rude boys. So then I realised that you crazy kids like your music fast right? Well our Caribbean friends haven’t forgotten about your upbeat way of life; in the late 1970s Dancehall hit the streets and awesomely cool people like me have been busting fierce moves to it ever since. Let me explain further:
Pon De Floor Major Lazer Feat. VYBZ Kartel
Look, I ain’t no Dancehall purist (there are some pretty serious rules as to what Dancehall actually is) but in my opinion this track is as good as. Makes me wanna dance and that keeps me happy. Suck it up.
Pass That Dutch Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott
This is like Dancehall for kids. The A to Z of Dancehall. Dancehall that might get played on a mainstream radio station. How nice. Doesn’t mean you can’t dance crazy to it. Tek Weh Yuhself. I don’t know what that means.
Murder She Wrote Chaka Demus & Pliers
Oooh! You’ll like this one. I promise. Remember Save The Last Dance. Go on. It was your favourite film at the time I know. Well this song is from that film. Segue. Kinda.
Chat To Mi Back Lady Saw
Sigh. I’m sick of being nice to you. If you don’t like Dancehall then this is gonna give you nightmares my pretty little one. Sorry. With a song title like Chat To Mi Back you know you’re in for a good time.
King of the Dancehall Beenie Man
I once worked with a woman named Cherry. She sat opposite me. She was Jamaican and when she got bored she’d speak to me in Patwa. Ain’t no cooler language. Massive.
Sim Simma who’s got the keys to my Bimmer?

I Spy | Comeback Kid
Not us. Them. The band! Whoa. Our namesake is in Melbourne today playing Soundwave and a sideshow too. Wackadoo!
Haven’t heard of them? Well they’re a hardcore punk band from Canada. They’ve been around since 2002 (they’ve got 7 years on us) and their music is heavy and loud like the bell at the top of a cathedral. Ah, kind of. Anyway, if you see them, say “Hi” from us and maybe give them a high five too.

Walk the Walk | London Fashion Week Update
The London boys keep on walking: Carolyn Massey showed us oversized knitwear in grey/nude contrasts followed by some serious black on black on black coolness. J.W Anderson kitted their models out in a multitude of tartan and buckle love. Christopher Shannon got his grey palette on with a surprisingly fresh winter outfit. Are they ski boots? And finally, Topman Design pulled out the sheepskin (once again) and paired it with an awesome gradient white-blue tee.
Now you’ve met the London Boys,

Not From Here | I Like Your Look
Comeback Kid is currently gearing up to shoot our winter look book. It works like this: new stock slowly comes in, we get a model plus a photographer and stylist in one and then take snaps of each piece to give you (dear reader) an idea of what’s in store. The new decade is proving to be an exciting time for men’s editorial; the interest and effort being put into spreads is on the up-and-up and male models are slowly becoming more famous like their female counterparts. Though our shoot wont be quite as exciting as the below; here are some snaps from the latest men’s mags that are inspiring our winter look and mood:
