Due to the Melbourne Cup and associated shenanigans Comeback Kid will be closed this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (November 1st, 2nd and 3rd) but will reopen on Wednesday the 4th.

To our OS readers: Melbournians get a day off due to a horse race. Yes. You read correctly. How awesome/weird is that?!

Our first heat wave is upon us in Melbourne and the most rockin’ shorts on the planet have arrived just in time at Comeback Kid.

But these aren’t just ordinary shorts, oh no, they’re intellectual shorts. Book Club name each style after their favourite authors (cute huh?) and when worn you suddenly feel inspired to write! It’s true. Right now I’m wearing the Salinger Shorts and I’m feeling all moody and teenage boy like, goddam! But in a good way of course (insert emoticon winky face here). Oooh – take a look:
